Today we walked in and got our USCIS fingerprints completed before our appointment date. We were in and out in a matter of 20 minutes!
Also, we received notification that our FBI background checks have been apostilled and on their way back to us!
Great progress today!
In addition to all that, we had our first day back to homeschooling. It went well. I really just wanted to review what the girls already learned during their first semester in Algebra, to be sure they have mastered it before moving on. They had some difficulties but nothing major, so I am very pleased. We are going to put a lot of focus into composition because they both really struggle with written language. We started on that today as well and officially withdrew them from high school.
Now to prepare their lesson plans for tomorrow.
Wow, Michelle. Things seem to be going so quickly for you. We are still waiting for our fingerprint appt. We got a letter but no appointment cards yet. I would love to walk in but we were told they would not fingerprint us if we did, so I don't know whether to give it a try. Is the letter enough to do a walk in or do we need the actual appointment first? I am happy for you that you seem to be moving quickly now.
