Called GA this morning and we will have the response from them TODAY!
Oh! And remember in my previous post I mentioned how we donated to someone elses adoption out of our adoption fund? It wasn't a large amount of money but it is money we are needing for "phase 1" but I believed that God would have us covered. Well, NY sent back the money order we submitted with our request, apparently there is no charge for the background check! Soooo, we got our money back AND contributed to someone elses adoption. :) God is AWESOME!!
Today, we will get our new commitment documents notarized, have them apostilled on Wed., overnighted to another adoptive family's home to be brought with them overseas on Friday!! Soon the officials over there will know that we are coming for Piper too!!!

ReplyDeleteI know it, right?! I totally had to giggle. we are over the moon excited because it turns out we can go ahead and send our paperwork off to immigrations today too; a step I thought we'd have to wait another month to do. I am just giddy!
