It is times like this that I just couldn't be more proud to be part of the special needs parenting community! Things are moving forward, possibly, for little Amelia because of the outpour of support....mainly from other parents of special needs children, I'm sure. I hope the support continues and big changes happen quick.

If you have not signed the petitions or shared Amelia's story yet, please do it now! Let's not slow down and phase out in our support for Amelia and every other "mentally retarded" persons in need of equal and proper medical care. (read my post "Be Outraged!" for links)
